G28

Description

Potent, versatile and precise, the G28 is one of the newest infantry weapons added to the German arsenal. Chambered in 7.62 NATO, the rifle offers high accuracy and versatility as it closes the gap between assault rifles like the G36 and G27 (HK416/HK417) and full power sniper rifles like the G22 to offer infantry units a more potent weapon system for long range engagements up to 800m. Specifically introduced to counter hostile marksmen aswell as the optics of weapon systems and vehicles the G28 expands the rifleman's capabilities without introducing the full weight a sniper rifle brings. For short range combat the rifleman can use a red-dot sight mounted on the long range 3-20x optic.
